An annual motorcycle show has increased the number of manufacturers which will be displaying their bikes nearly three fold.
Thirty of the biggest names in biking have already committed to exhibiting at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham for the new Carole Nash Motorcycle Live event - compared with just 11 manufacturers who attended last year's recession-ravaged show.
While bikes look new and shiny on their stands in exhibition halls they can give off the impression of being indestructible, but as with any piece of machinery things can go wrong and accidents can happen. For that reason it is important for anyone who purchases a bike to take out motorbike insurance cover.
The show's managing director, Finlay McAllan, said: "Naturally we're delighted to announce the attendance of all major motorcycle brands.
"With all-four Japanese manufacturers confirmed, along with the major US and European marques, visitors will benefit from a bumper crop of 2011 models at this year's event, making it the must-visit attraction for any motorcycle fan."
The motorcycle manufacturers confirmed for this year includes Aprilia, Benelli, BMW, Cagiva, Daelim, Derbi, Ducati, Generic, Gilera, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Hyosung, Kawasaki, Keeway, KTM, Moto Guzzi, MV Augusta, Norton, PGO Scooters, Piaggio, Royal Enfield, Spyder, Star, Suzuki, Sym, Triumph, Vespa, Victory, Watsonian Squire and Yamaha.
