They'll have a hard time explaining this one to their travel insurance firms, but four students are about to drive a biodiesel-powered car all the way to Mongolia in Asia - a total of 10,000 miles.
The St Andrews University students, who have called their team the Green Yaks, will be competing in the Mongol Rally to fundraise for charity Mercy Corps.
They will leave Goodwood, West Sussex, on July 24 and pass through 21 national borders to the capital city Ulaanbaatar in a four to six-week journey.
Their car runs on biodiesel, which is a vegetable oil or animal fat-based fuel, so the level of risk of a breakdown is anyone's guess.
Team leader Teddy Wadsworth said: "We wanted to do something extraordinary with our summer holidays, and travelling all the way to Mongolia in a car that already has 199,000 miles on the clock, one broken window and that's fuelled by biodiesel will certainly be a little different.
"The BP oil spill has shown exactly how important alternative fuels like biodiesel are too, so we're happy to be able to have our adventure, raise funds for charity and do our bit for the environment too."
The team members are all sustainable development students.
