While travel insurance should protect you from most mishaps that could happen while on holiday, it is unlikely to help when confronted by the wrath of a significant other.
A survey has revealed that almost a quarter of those in relationships eye up other people while on holiday, with almost half being caught in the act by their partner.
The poll by travel agent www.sunshine.co.uk found that 24% admitted ogling on their travels.
Women were more concerned than men about ogling - with 68% of females confessing they were often concerned about their partner eying other women on vacation.
However just 23% of men were worried about their female partners ogling men, and 6% of the 1,582 people polled had no concerns at all in that area.
The survey also found that 7% had cheated on a partner, past or present, after collecting their travel money and jetting off to foreign shores.
Just 13% of men said they try to prevent their partner going on an all-girls holiday, but as many as 47% of women did not like the idea of their men departing on a lads trip.
Chris Brown, co-founder of sunshine.co.uk, said: "While going away with a partner can be an incredible experience, there's always the danger that arguments will arise if someone in the relationship can't keep their eyes off someone other than their partner!
"It was a bit of a shock that almost a quarter admitted to ogling someone else while on holiday and clearly it's something that concerns a lot of people, especially women."
