For some it's all about getting away from it all, but it seems that for many Britons taking a little bit of Blighty away with them is a holiday must.
It may not be as big a priority as beach towels, passport or travel insurance, but for a third of Britons, packing teabags in their suitcase comes as par for the course.
A survey from Hotels.com also found that 8% of UK travellers are real creatures of habit, taking bacon away with them for that all-important wake-up sandwich, and a further 1% have loaded ketchup or brown sauce on to the plane.
Perhaps surprisingly the study on hotel food also highlighted the French's love for the full English breakfast, with a fifth of France's respondents heralding the fry-up as the best possible start to the day.
Across all nationalities, the British breakfast was declared the most popular amongst the 2,400 travelling respondents.
A quarter of Britons admitted to taking English breakfast foods away with them, with 55% claiming to opt for it abroad.
And a cheeky 10% of UK holidaymakers stash away a buffet to eat later on in the day.
